This spectral tube is used to observe and study the emission spectrum of Hydrogen (H2) and is ideal for physics classes, training, laboratory work, and spectroscopic experiments.

The robust glass tube features a central glass capillary, industrial E14 bases, and steel electrodes. This robust design allows for continuous operation of up to approximately 1 hour. In comparison, many similar spectral tubes are equipped with aluminum electrodes and are often designed for continuous operation of only up to 15 minutes.

The tube is operated at 1.0–2.5 kV with an operating current of 1–2 mA. No X-rays are emitted at the specified operating voltage
