For experiments on dynamics (uniform and non-uniform motion, average and instantaneous velocity, accelerated motion, Newton’s definitions, collision experiments, the law of momentum, dynamic mass determination, potential and kinetic energy), on inclined planes, work, and force decomposition on an inclined plane, as well as on friction;
Four large wheels and an axle suspension with a minimal footprint ensure that the trolley runs with very low friction. A hole on one end serves for attaching shock absorbers or attachments, while an anchor on the other end is used to hang force transducers or strings for measuring acceleration. The mass of the car can be varied by placing a 100-gram weight on the base plate, along with a tower and two SE 50-gram slot weights. The removable body serves as a detection surface for experiments with the distance sensor or the fork-type photoelectric sensors.
