With the dynamic positioning system, you can easily control and record the position in Coach – with a resolution of 0.2 mm.
Easily plot the relationship between distance and sensor reading on a graph!
The CoachLab II interface is required for operation.

This dynamic positioning system enables fast, precise and reproducible positioning of sensors or components in practical experiments.
Fixed and programmable positioning steps with pre-set and programmable movement speeds offer a high degree of flexibility combined with particularly simple operation.
Experiments can be carried out quickly and without any disruptive influence from the experimenter.

Example experiments:
- Inverse square law
- Magnetic field generated by a coil
- Surface tension
- Light interference through two slits
- etc.

The CoachLabII+ interface (P4910-1C) enables the position of the carriage on the guide rail to be recorded via the computer and Coach7.
Measurement data from other sensors can be recorded and quickly analysed depending on the position of the carriage.

The moving element of this dynamic positioning system is a carriage capable of carrying a retort rod or a sensor holder.
The carriage moves along a linear path, driven by a conveyor belt connected to a stepper motor.

The stepper motor is controlled by the CoachLabII+ interface (P4910-1C), which generates the control signals required to drive the motor.
A Coach-Control programme controls the positioning system and ensures precise and repeatable control of the carriage’s position along the rail.
The system is supplied with a support rod (Ø 10 mm, length 200 mm) and a rod clamp.
