The CMA Voltage sensor P4211-1S is a generic sensor that can be used to measure voltage between -10 .. 10 V. This sensor can directly be connected to a CMA interface. The sensor has two banana (4-mm) plugs for easy connection.

This sensor does not have differential inputs, it has a direct connection to the inputs of a measurement interface and will not behave like a traditional voltmeter.
To measure a potential difference between two points in a circuit, connect the red and black plugs to the two points. A positive reading means the red plug is at a higher potential than the black plug.

Technical specifications:

Measuring range: -10 .. 10 V
Maximum measurement frequency: 100 kHz (CoachLab II+, WiLab) / 1 MHz (VinciLab 2)
Warranty: 3 years
Includes sensor cable

Technical specifications of the sensor are described in the manual, see downloads.

The Voltage sensor can be used in various physics experiments such as:

Discharging of a capacitor
Investigating battery life
Electromagnetic induction
more.

The sensor has a built-in resistor for automatic sensor identification and can be directly connected to analog BT inputs of the CMA interfaces.
