The Actuator Set P4270-2B can be used to teach students the basics of control technology and programming. Actuators (motor, buzzer and lamps) can be connected to the control outputs of CoachLab II/II+. The push button can be used as a digital sensor and can be connected to the inputs of the interface.

The actuator set consists of the following elements:

Lamp holder with 3 colored lights (max. 12 V)
DC motor (2-bit) (max. 12 V)
Buzzer (max. 12 V)
Push button
3 black and 3 red 4mm wires
A propeller and a pulley for mounting on the motor shaft.

All elements are equipped with 4mm sockets.

The Actuator Set can be used to build and program simple measurement and control systems:

A traffic light: using the pushbutton, the traffic light can respond to input from pedestrians. An additional light sensor allows the traffic light to flash in the dark.
A temperature control: if the temperature gets too high, the heatsink (with an additional temperature sensor) switches on. Shop window lighting: when it gets dark, the light should turn on (with an additional light sensor).
Alarm system

The “Control and Regulate” Coach project offers a programming environment for this purpose.

For BT inputs the CMA adapter (P4270-1A) should be used.

Technical specifications of the Actuator set are described in the product manual, see downloads
