This wireless drop counter is a sensor designed to count liquid drops in experiments such as titrations.
The sensor is supplied with the following accessories: a 100 ml plastic syringe with a Luer-Lock connector, two 3-way valves with Luer-Lock connectors, a 1.6 mm dropper tip and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
The sensor can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth or via a USB cable with the ‘Coach 7’ or ‘Coach 7 lite’ programmes/apps on computers (Windows and Mac), Chromebooks and mobile devices (Android and iOS). The sensor features a colour OLED display that shows sensor information and measurement values, allowing it to be used as a stand-alone measuring device.
As drops pass through the detection area, the sensor automatically detects and records each drop using an infrared detection system.
Technical specifications:
• Measurement range: 0 to 10 drops per second (or 0 to 100 ml volume)</li>
• Resolution: 1 drop
• Size of the detection opening: Ø 11.5 mm
• Size of the electrode opening: Ø 13 mm
• Size of the temperature sensor opening: Ø 4 mm
• OLED display: 0.96 inches, 128 x 64 pixels
• Battery life: 7 hours on a full charge (rechargeable)
• Connection: Bluetooth 5, Low Energy (Mac, Android, iOS), Bluetooth 2.1, Classic (Windows) or USB-C 2.0
Included accessories:
• 100 ml plastic syringe with Luer-Lock connector; removing the plunger turns the syringe into a reservoir for the titration solution
• Two 3-way valves with Luer-Lock connectors
• One 1.6 mm dropper tip
• USB-A to USB-C cable
The dropper can be used in conjunction with wireless pH, conductivity, temperature or ORP sensors for a wide range of chemistry experiments:
• pH titrations
• Conductivity titrations
• ORP titrations
• Temperature monitoring during titrations
