The rail profile in the demonstration experiments looks exactly like the one used in the student experiment boxes. Is it identical?

Yes, we use the same NTL rail profile in both the student experiments and our demonstration experiments. You can therefore use stand material from the student experiment boxes in your demonstration experiments and vice versa.
